These
lovely cabinets were designed to fit the needs of the primary caregiver
in an infant center. It provides many solutions for the modern infant
room with an emphasis on continuity of care and small group size. The
primary caregiver can quickly and effortlessly set up a safe place for
infants. The combination of rectangular and trapezoid shapes allows
a great deal of flexibility in the arrangement. These multifunctional
units provide storage, numerous educational features and a low bench
for the caregiver.
- Primary
Caregiver: The baby must have access to one adult who
they interact with on a regular basis. It is essential that the
infant bond with their primary caregiver.
- Small
Group Size: Low partitions give the child a feeling of
space in a clearly defined area without limiting their play. Ideal
to set up small groups which allow for one on one interaction between
the infant and the primary caregiver.
- Continuity
Of Care:The infant should not continually
change caregivers. The caregiver should be allowed flexibility to
change the size of the play space allowing the caregiver to remain
in a defined area with the infants and arrange the environment for
different activities.
